Zest Commercial
A rude awakening this morning, with this cheerful '80s jingle ringing in my head. Anyone know who the actress is? She looks *so* familiar.
I couldn't imagine why a soap commercial would be on my mind, until Amber reminded me that I've been seriously dissatisfied with the soap we've been buying lately. Gotta change brands, but being a natch grocery shopper, Zest is definitely not in my future.

She looks like Mary Steenburgen, but that would seem odd as she was probably making feature films around that time. I also don't think her voice is quite that annoying. BUT it looks just like her.

had the same thought (re: mary s.), but actually, next thought was, nah. familiar looking, though. no way would i have remembered the jingle! wowed! (it's a soap thing : })
ReplyDeleteWow! I hadn't thought about Mary Steenburgen, but that's a good one. My first guess was Betty Buckley, but that ain't right either. Maybe this woman looks familiar simply from the Zest commercials?
